Jaanipäev 2016 // Midsummer 2016

Jaanipäev möödus sel korral haruldaselt hea ilmaga - jaanitule ajal vihma ei sadanud, lisaks paras temperatuur ja päikepaiste. Päevad aga vennad ei ole ja järgneval hommikul oli platsis paduvihm ja uudis Brexitist.
Igatahes möödus jaanipäev traditsiooniliselt - sai korjatud kaks kimpu põllulilli, tehtud terve päeva süüa ja õhtul grillitud. Kuna Vasalemmas oli pidu samuti 23. juunil, siis sinna kahjuks ei jõudnud.

The weather really graced us during this year's Midsummer - no rain during the bonfire + perfect temperature and sunshine. Days are not brothers and the next morning woke me up with rain and news about Brexit.
But anyway it was another one of our traditional Midsummers - picked 2 bouquets of wild flowers, slaved a whole day in the kitchen and had a barbeque in the evening. Vasalemma held its bonfire on the 23rd as well, so we decided not to go there this year.

 Viimane kord Kernu valla lippu näha? // Last time seeing the flag of Kernu parish?

Helepruun hobune oli vist tõeline naljahammas, ta naeris mitu korda (pole sellist asja kunagi ise näinud) // Light brown horse was real joker, I've never seen a horse laugh before...but that one did it many times while giving rides.

 Lõke pole veel süüdatud, aga disko käib :D // Until everyone waits for the bonfire, the disco is on :D

 Ja viimaks ka süütamine. Eufooriat võib näha väikse poisi näost // And fire at last, you can see the euphoria from the little boy's gestures.
